I had to let my Daimler 4 Ltr. go, as I was only getting 9 miles per Gal. around town, but it was lovely to drive, I still miss it.  :(

Wow, that's got to be expensive to run. How much to fill up the tank?

Not that bad, much better than say, a Range Rover ;) these cars are much more fuel efficient than the old Jags.  I put about £65 worth in when we bought it to fill it up. the biggest cost of owning a car is depreciation, this car is safe from that now!

Other costs, insurance £310 with agreed value, road tax is £220 for a year, no big deal there!  It's a car for pleasure, fun, we have a smaller car for everyday. Expensive things could happen, but might not if looked after, the risks of being a petrol head!  ^*^0

Me too--I had one the same, used to have to find a parking place where I could stuff the bonnet under a bush in the old Asda car park, or someone would take a swipe at the boot ! Know what you mean about the driving Quiggs.

I find that hard to believe.  :o  &shake&  A Range Rover Sport 3.0 does between 30-33mpg. I suspect you'd get between 20-25mpg at best out of the Jag, and that's with the wind behind you and Mrs ME pushing...

Nice reg plate! But that's an oil burner  ;D. I have already seen 30mpg, the original figures were
Urban 19.8 mpg, 56mph 36.7mpg, 75mph 29.1mpg (auto box)  :P

I saw a Maserati with a personalised DR plate driving up Kings Drive.  Is that yours too?      ^*^0

As I was driving along the Prom in Llandudno there was a rally of Porsche cars on the Promenade.  Very impressive they were and worth a bit of money too.   :)

Convert it to runs on LPG.
Not a difficult job on that engine.
Plenty of room in the boot for the tank too.
Then you can use it without worrying about the cost !

Spotted this picture in the range rover portal page.http://www.carautoportal.com/land-rover/range-rover-sport.php

Can't think where but I'm sure  I've seen the building in the background of the photograph on the right in another photograph I've seen recently!

You didn't think that was really my car, did you?!  The font on the number plate would be illegal, to start with.

More of a car to be photographed in rather than photographed from :)
