New VW commercial featuring llandudno
« on: October 19, 2013, 09:13:40 pm »
Did anyone see the VW commercial on itv between X factor. It featured loads of Llandudno images. I even spotted gloddaeth ave and lots of other scenes. I looked up the Ad on YouTube but couldn't find it. Can anyone find it, or did anyone see it

They film a lot of adverts on the other llandudno beach in SA.  Cant quite explain it but the light is different there, beautiful for a sun downer :)

The main reason I spotted it was llandudno was the shot of gloddaeth ave, and my old house! I thought I was seeing things. I think that the clip posted on here an hour ago (thankyou) was a more shortened version.  If anyone can find the longer one, please post.  :)

Whilst the advert is clever, it really needs banning as it is not good for dogs to be hanging their heads out of the car window.   Damage can be done to the eyes by dust and grit and also the ears.

Before you come to the defence of the drivers, remember the damage that is done to the front and grill of your car by small stones, grit and the like! >>>

Went over that a fortnight ago. Isn't that the one that is for sale? It and a small 'lodge house' was featured in the Telegraph Property section the other Sat.

Is the car travelling down Gloddaeth Avenue on the wrong side of the road?

Yes, it probably looked more scenic that way round.
