Nant Y Glyn Hall Colwyn Bay
« on: August 18, 2013, 11:45:04 am »
A friend was asking me questions about Nant Y Glyn Hall and as I didn't know the answer he asked me to put them on the forum in case anyone knew:-

1)     Who built Nant Y Glyn Hall and for whom was it built?

2)     Who were Lord and Lady Roberts who allegedly lived there at sometime?     ( He didn't know their Christian names but thought that Lady Roberts died about 1952)

A bit of a mystery Hugo.  I think it had been converted into a number of flats by the mid-1960s.

It is a mystery Cambrian as I've tried various things on the internet without any luck and Norman Tucker's book on The origins of Colwyn Bay doesn't help either.
The Conwy Archives may have the info but I haven't been there for weeks, mainly because of the good weather.
Thanks for trying anyway.
