Ah!  Now I understand!  The major doing similar I suppose?  And there was me trying in some way to link them to a picture of the 1950 Rhos Gala Queen.   What a silly chap I am!   L0L   L0L   L0L

Has anyone seen The Ferret recently?   WWW

Evan Thomas is third from the left in the back row. I know the two on the right end of the top row too - the one second from the end was a smashing bloke but I can't bring his name to mind. The one in the white jumper is very familiar and I'm sure was well known in town.

Your right that's my uncle Evan my mum's brother, thought it was him. His sister, my Aunty Nell lived in Rudyard

Can anyone help with this photo? I have only just found it after having a clearout. I can't remember it being taken, I'm the one kneeling down, the hatless dude is Harry HASSIN (lived in Belle Vue Terrace, Great Orme) The lad at the back with the wooly hat is Peter EVANS (Black Gate, Great Orme) I can't for the life of me remember the names of the two in the front wearing hats nor, to my shame, can I remember the names of any of the girls so can anyone help. Also, who took the photo!!! $scratch$ ?{}?

Don't know if you are aware of it Ed but Harry Hassin passed away on the 8th January 2013 aged just 65.   I've had a look at the photo but can't recognise anyone apart from you, Harry and Pete.     You looked quite young there.

Hugo, I was not aware of that. I'm really sorry. I hadn't seen Harry for a number of years but we were very good mates in the 60's. Thank you for letting me know

Hugo, I haven't got a clue when this photo was taken, I must have been about 16 or so, that would have been about 175 years ago!!! I still can't upload the photo on this page so I'll leave it.

THat's the one Hugo. I've been in touch with another old boy Richard EVANS, he had just joined the R.A.F. and Harry had sent him the photo (he must have sent me a copy) anyway he said the photo was taken in Elephants cave up the Happy Valley sometime in early 1963. Richard can only recognise Peter Evans, me and Harry. He thinks that two of the girls were sisters named JONES!! Have you any details on how Harry died and do you know where he is buried?

He could be right, I think Helen Jones is the on the far right and her sister Jackie may be the one 4th from the right.   They lived on the Tre Creuddyn estate.
