Nursing homes
« on: May 18, 2013, 11:58:23 am »
Can anyone recommend a really good nursing home for an elderly patient who needs medical care?  He is having to leave the hospital and go in to a nursing home which we have to find.
Greatful for any recommendations.

You can search online for   a directory of Registered Nursing Homes and also for recent inspection reports. They will tell you how many beds there are, how many staff, details of their training and the sort of facilities and amenities that are available. Good luck with finding a good place, there are lots of them around  ££$

I too am looking for a good Nursing home for respite for my mother after a serious fall she has had or some good private home nursing. Any ideas would be most welcome as she is in Llandudno hospital at the moment but we will need some help or some good rehap. Thanks.
