New tax office / payroll regulations
« on: March 03, 2013, 10:26:31 am »
Has anyone else looked at the new Real Time Information requirements for payroll from the Inland Revenue? It seems a lot more involved particularly for the construction industry and employers with a high turn around of staff like hotels, food outlets etc. Because its something new I'd like to see what problems other people have and maybe we can help each other out and avoid getting a fine off the tax man.

RTI is an utter pain in the posterior, just another way of shifting the work from HMRC to private business.  &shake&

PAYE and Tax forms were a pain in the proverbial as far as I remember and I'm rather pleased that I don't run my own business any more.  The best job was doing the VAT return as, being a nett exporter, I always got a big refund!   ;D
