I'm wondering why Yorkie wants skis made in Poland?  :D

So do I - but then again Poland has some superb skiing areas, and not expensive.    :D

Here is a silly riddle about Colwyn Bay. As you probably know the National Eistedfod holds a proclomation on each site 12 months before. The bardic stones are set up. Every site has one. colwyn Bay, and Colwyn Bay alone, has two. One in Eirias Park and one in the Zoo. Why?

Zoo has a Bardic Circle erected in 1909 for the 1910 event.   Eirias Park in 1940 for the 1941 event.

Looks as if I have got the wrong end of the stick (again). Obviously Yorkie knows more about this subject than I thought I did.
I understood that the proclomation and one of the sets of stones was performed in 1939. Then the second war started and the whole Eistedfod was cancelled. At the end of the was, around 1946 it was decided to have a second proclomation and a second set of stones. Ineverknew that the bay had the Eistedfod twice. Mike

You could well be right with the 1939 event, Mike.   ;)

The word 'Toiledau' is more commonly used now, which makes far more sense.

Not sure if anyone realised, but this band features one of our members who lives in Rhos. Apparently, they're well worth going to see.

Coffee shop chat. There is a house to let close to Conwy Marina by the name of Pendragon (I'm sure Ive heard that name mentioned on the forum!!!)   It sleeps five, but it states it has eight bedrooms.  If, as seems probable, this is a mistake, well they have made the same mistake three times in the advert on the internet.  Careless?
