I saw that item on the news this morning but they said the taxi driver fell in too when he clearly climbed down to rescue/comfort her.

Feeling so sorry for the village of Llanfair TH. A blocked culvert has just had a go at flooding the village. We were having lunch at the Black Lion when a torrent of water came through the back of the pub. All bookings cancelled for tonight. The fire engines are there and I believe the culvert has now been unblocked.
They still managed to deliver our roast beef despite the panic and major brushing out going on behind us.
Thank you to them and we hope that not too much damage has been done.

That's such a shame Hollins especially as it has happened a few times before at Llanfair TH.   Hope that you still enjoyed your roast beef and that things are sorted out quickly for the Black Lion and the village.
