you,v woke up another old memory yorkie, in camp with the T.A. in 1963 we went on the train (new diesel train) down to dover for a night out , i got drunk on black Velvet,s and tried to leave the train to relieve myself on the way back, as it was doing over 60 miles an hour my mates stopped me and all i can remember after leaving dover was waking up in the tent the next day  with just my socks and army boots on, must have been a good night out.

Just having a read of online papers and it says Father Ted actor Dermot Morgan is dead.  I thought he died a few years ago?  Obviously not.  I love Father Ted it's really funny.  Mrs Doyle is hilarious.

Some of the online papers are misreading and allow you to read 1998 articles as if they happened today

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/ireland-mourns-comic-talent-as-father-ted-actor-dies-aged-45-1147870.html

Today's date at the top and a 1998 date part way down the page.

On the same page The Harry Potter article to the right of the Dermot Morgan one is dated THURSDAY 23 JUNE 2011.

I think it might be because in word processing systems like MS Word it allows you to have a symbol "Today' Date" that you can use repeatedly the save having to type in the date. Unfortunately it shows the date you read the web page or word document and not the date that was originally meant when it was written.

A while ago, Hollins was kind enough to suggest that I should make some of my wild flower photos into cards or notelets and Yorkie suggested that I could do this with DIY printing.

Well, I've taken the advice of both of you and have sold a few at our church fairs, turning in a little profit for church funds.  My fellow committee members asked for a bit more variety than flowers and you can see the result in the photo, together with our professionally produced Christmas cards.

So, Hollins and Yorkie, if you would like a complimentary selection to say "thank you", send me a PM to tell me how to get them to you.

Well done Blodyn. That is a great achievement.
I would love some of your cards but definitely only if you let me pay for them. I will send a donation for your church if you send me a message with an address.
