I've never been up Old Road before (from where the flats were googlemapped)
And I spotted the No1s Bistro
Any good reviews on this place?

Popped into Oscar's place and read the comments against his last post before h takes a break.  One particular posting is rather intriguing:

"Sorry, I am for real, but I am also the majority. The majority does actually think Oscar is a nasty spiteful individual.

Muppet you think, that's fine, can live with that.

E-thug does amuse me. One of the limited reasons to be on here. That and my strange voyeuristic urge to witness something wholly unpleasant. Bit like driving past a bad car accident. You shouldn't look but you do.

If Oscar pops his clogs who would take over I wonder? Has he/she put in place a deputy in the hopeful event of a demise :-)"

What's intriguing is the literacy level of the post. The syntax, punctuation and vocabulary, not to forget imagery and style, are well beyond that displayed by the average commenter in Oscar's place. Wonder who it could be?

Anyone who regards themselves as speaking for the 'majority' usually represents anything but that view.....

I agree.  But the style is interesting.

The 'smiley' at the end of the post is 'interesting'.

He may have an interesting style, it's just a shame he spouts a pile of drivel.  You sound like you already know who it is Ian?

Most odd, very strange business.
I tried to look on Oscar today, after a couple of days absence, and it seems to be 'offline' entirely.

That Angie X in the thread sounds like someone you would not want to go up against  WWW

All 'Blogger' Blogs (including mine) were offline for a while this afternoon, some sort of technical fault.
