Not sure where to post this, but here goes.
Today, a foot squared cardboard box was delivered to me. I opened it to find 6 yards of wound up brown paper and under it all a soft Beanie toy 2" by 4". Not Amazon this time, but Funky Pigeon. ! The toy would have fitted into a padded envelope !
Mad, Bad and Dangerous to know.

Not much talk in coffee centre lately. So here goes. This true story. In early 1960s I owned a 750 cc Austin engined home built racing car. I and others raced it around Oulton Park. It’s number plate was UCA (you see a) 750 . This plate was issued by Denbighshire council on inception.i sold car and plate for £20 in 1966. Pause whilst I break into tears at lost fortune

Hello coffee people. Last summer a lot of tourist attraction people who were not too happy with their takings suggested that all these new adventure sites in snowdonia were taking all the trade.
Well this maybe a one off. Yesterday a group of young active men arrived on the Golf. 14 of them.
In conversation with them it turned out they were all from Kent. 300mile away. Staying in Dolgarog. The attraction? Surfing. Also today they go to zip world.
The Ormegolf might be good. But it’s not a 600 mile journey good

The Daily Mail (online) seem to run about 40/50 stories on this wedding every day, and it seems almost unanimous that all of their readers can't stand this couple (or Wills and bland for that matter) it has got to the point of being quite spectacular, they are pretty much just winding their readers up on purpose now.

Just read in newspaper that the English language will loose its worldwide popularity of being the preferred second language. To a computer which will instantly translate from one foreign language to another.
Don’t know about this. But from personal experience I can confirm definitely that English is preferred second language.
I spend a lot of time in Goa. A state in India. In my village there are half dozen of small bars all full of long stay winter visitors and a very few local goans. There are French, Russians, Spanish, Flemish, Scandinavian Greek, Turks, etc etc, and a few English. They all talk to each other. Russian to Iranian etc. But always they talk to each other in English.

Living in Llandudno I’m used to seagulls stealing my food. But now the Starlings are getting in in the act!
Yesterday, I stopped off in Chester Services and these chancers, (about 50 of them), kept coming on to, and INTO my car to take food from my hand!
Incidentally, I took 2 videos too, but this forum wouldn’t let me post them... >:(
