Yes - that is the problem if we repair stuff ourselves. I do all my own electrics, but decided to leave the installation of a new Breaker board to the proper guy.
And on the other hand, I guess there can be times when you need to DIY. We use a particular Z Wave dimmer in a couple of rooms. In one case, manual calibration was needed (incorrect calibration can result in light flicker, light not turning off fully or in worse cases, the protection circuity in the device tripping). I'd doubt that even pairing Z Wave devices were in the scope of the local electricians, let alone fiddling around with the Z Wave parameters in HA programs. I could be wrong but I'd guess I'd be looking for some HA specialist, probably Norwich based for that.
Which leads me to a conversation mum had with the plumber on Monday. I believe he commented that a lot of tradesmen, particularly older ones, were struggling with today's rate of change and smart devices, etc. and that time out to go on courses was expensive...
