If you switch off your router you could get a different IP address every time you switch on.  Mine stays on 24/7 so should only change when I switch on again after a holiday.

You can use the IP address in conjunction with one or two other methods to determine if a particular person posted something. At the end of the day, there are only one or two nuisances out there, so not hard to keep an eye on them if you're Oscar...

"Staff at an Anglesey hotel have been banned by managers from speaking Welsh when the head chef is in the kitchen.

The Carreg Mon near Llanfairpwll asked employees not to use Welsh because he does not speak the language and is responsible for health and safety.

The Welsh Language Board (WLB) is to write to the hotel and wants a meeting with the managers.

Changing your IP address in Windows - Computer connected directly to the modem
1.Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).
2.Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).
3.Type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).

Windows (second option) - Computer connected directly to the modem
1.Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).
2.Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes).
3.Shut down computer.
4.Turn off computer.
5.Turn off all ethernet hubs/switches.
6.Turn off cable/DSL modem.
7.Leave off overnight.
8.Turn everything back on.

That sets your pc's internal ip address (normally 192.168.1.2), the ip address recorded in site logs etc is determined by your isp.
