Just noticed this old thread and it reminded me that a woman came into the Mens Toilets in the Kings Head during Headstock last Sunday. She did ask first, though.  ;)

I too went to Headstock, later in the evening...

Whilst there, I was appalled to see many women in the mens toilets.
I pointed out to PC Tom Prytherch who was on duty, that if I had gone into the Ladies in that way, I would surely have been on the sex offenders register by now.

His reaction was, 'what, again Fester?'

Fair enough then, it appears that standards have slipped but I am a lone voice, and I will have to accept that no one else but me thinks its an issue.

Not sure of your point....... but I am going to rise above it.

By the way, whilst I was in the Gents loo at Headstock, I heard a woman screaming 'get me out, please open this door'  from one of the cubicles.
After a moments hesitation, I obliged by giving it 'the shoulder'

She should have stood back a little, because it smacked her straight in the face.

Poetic justice methinks?

I wouldn't be surprised if Unisex toilets become the norm across pubs and clubs. For one thing it makes cleaning and security easier to monitor.

Many years ago (MANY) when I was little more than a chick I worked as a... 'Door Supervisor' (now there's a euphemism) at a night spot in Leeds. The ladies toilet was a really troublesome spot amazingly and more the once I was called in there to resolve brawls between two 'women' ..

Anyway I digress on one occasion I was stood in the doorway chatting to the female attendant we had in there when a young 'lady' unable to wait (all six cubicles were occupied) simply pulled her pants down and jumped up onto one of the sinks to micturate.

Appalling!!

On another occasion young inebriated 'lady' comes in most unhappy that she'd spilled a drink onto her dress, so oblivious to my male - ish presence, whips off the dress and standing there in only a microscopic pair of pants proceeded to dry the dress with the electric hand drier.

Classy or what?

I hope it's the pizza that has you so enthused Fester, if it's the blows that is most unsettling.

If u go to any big town or city it does happen during the weekend ,it's not right and fester is spot on but with all these young chavs u have no chance of changing there behavior they will do as they please. Just bring them onto a building site they would never use a toilet again unless standing up
