Archways... agreed.

Having said that, I am yet to try Enoch's.

Spurred on by the recent posts on local chippies we went to Enoch's yesterday.
Our only regret was that we had not been before as it was super.
It has got a lot going for it apart from the delicious food. They are open all afternoon which suits our preferred late lunch eating time. The interior is very attractive and the service was so cheerful and friendly.
Take a bow Kayleigh, you would cheer up the most depressed soul.
I asked for plaice and was offered a choice of breaded, battered or poached and also a choice between mushy or garden peas.
It was so delicious, the breadcrumbs were crispy and the fish, flaky white inside.
We were surprised to see that they had a good selection of local beers and Mr Hollins tried an Orme one which he said was good.

Just before we went in the mystery cavalcade of police bikes, unmarked police cars were closely escorting the white Audi again which was mentioned on here last week. I wonder if they are practising for something?

I was in Town House in Llandudno on Saturday - they appear to be trying to brand themselves as a cafe and a bar. That's all well and good but the coffee machine didn't even work. And the barmaid didn't know what an espresso was. Worrying.

In other news I was in the newly-opened Bank of Conwy on Sunday. It's got a very intimidating selection of continental lagers from all over Europe. Pricey but very tasteful decor and a cut above the usual. The barman told us they had run out of food on Saturday night and didn't serve any on Sunday!
After all what is time, a mere tyranny.

When returning from Manchester Airport, we saw a convoy of police vehicles on the motorway by Chester, heading back from North Wales. There was a large police prisoner lorry, with 2 police cars in front and 3 behind it, all with blue lights flashing.

The police escort is to do with Paul Williams, a drug dealer from Bangor currently on trial at Caernarfon Crown - http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/paul-williams-bangor-drug-boss-9297467

The Police must think that there s a chance of a massive escape plan on the cards. Is a comparatively small drug dealer could get that sort of support?  Must be mega cash around

It does seem like a lot of attention, the sort of convoy that you would only usually see for terrorist trials and the like.

It seems an odd idea to try and fund a business through donations? :o
