Cheers Dave, we must try it! Perhaps tomorrow morning!

I too would love to try it again tomorrow but I am off up to North Yorkshire, proving a route for the car club's annual rally.  Next week maybe for a good fry up!  :D

Funnily enough, I had breakfast in 121 this morning - it was excellent and the staff were very polite.  $good$

Dave, do you know if they can do a veggie breakfast?

As comedian Frankie Boyle was told when he enquired, ....'Is there a vegetarian option?'

The reply........'Yes Sir... you can F##K OFF'

Saw them stocking up the new Orme Fish and Chip takeaway next to Zaks in Upper Mostyn Street this afternoon so expect it will be open this week-end.

Better late than never I suppose,  unlike the abortive 'Oatcake Shop'

The sign which is propped up inside seems to have had the "Opening Shortly" part erased.

There's shock news over on TripAdvisor as the Orient Express overtakes Characters as the top ranked Llandudno eaterie.

Has anyone got any idea how TA come up with their rankings, it always seems to have a degree of randomness thrown into the calculations?

Funnily enough, I was going past yesterday and the paintbrush was in use again outside, has to be the most painted shop in Llandudno.

I had breakfast in Orient Express a few days ago, the service was superb and the breakfast good but the sausages could have been a little better quality. The breakfast in 121 was a touch better, in my view.

I heard a whisper that Yorkie had been back to 121, is that true?  ;)

Obviously you shouldn't listen to whispers.  Since last thursday night I have been in North Yorkshire with my Son and Heir organising our Car Club's Annual Meet!

I did say I would return to 121, see my earlier post, to have a further appraisal.  My first day out for a coffee was today when we went to our usual watering hole at Cafe Dewi.

TA appraisals are based purely on what people write about the place and what Star rating they give.  Some places arrange with friends to make "special" comments - good about themselves and bad about competitors.  Hence they are not exactly reliable.   :D

We called in yesterday after depositing my annual lottery cheque and collecting their latest Teddy Bear.

By doing so, we managed to polish off the last of the coffee and walnut cake.  ;)

I'm not a cake eater, so you could have had my piece also!  We are in there most afternoons when we're in town.   ZXZ

Well, I couldn't spend a whole day in Llandudno without telling you what I had for lunch, could I?
Delicious smoked salmon and scambled egg freshly cooked at Le Gatte. Excellent.

Haven't been there for some time but it has always been excellent when I visited.

I went to 121 for a mid morning snack today, have to say food & service was great, couldn't fault it at all.
