It was noted by myself & Fester yesterday. I think it's been sold and will be reopening shortly.

Who's Nicholas White then? I thought the word was that Mr. Cooney was taking over Gimberts?

A bar and grill then. Sounds good really as there is obviously a market for it. Similar to Harvey's I imagine, but perhaps hopefully with fewer of the problems you read about them on Tripadvisor. Nice location, with big picture windows, I reckon it could do well, if they get the feel right!

According to official source Mr Nick White is a front man for Mr Cooney and the idea is to open it on the pretence of it being a steak bar restaurant but in truth their intention is to run a fully fledged bar bar.

Another  $good$ from me for the Archway fish and chip restaurant in Conwy. Thanks for the recommendation Fester and Hugo.
You are right spotlessly clean, a nice smiling waitress and good freshly cooked fish.

Looks lovely, the first time I went there was because it was the only place open - we had a lovely meal and will be returning.

Just to let everyone know that the Kiosks on the Promenade at Rhos on Sea have got a reprieve. A letter to the leaseholders this week
withdrawing the notice to close March.  This means they should be able to carry on trading until the sea defence work begins by the Cayley which isnt yet happening. Thanks to Councillor Phil Edwards and public support means the  little Kiosks will remain for now $bounce$

I use The Archway at least once a week. Never a bad meal and always good quality food. The only other fish & Chip shop which I find compares to the Archway is in Denbeigh.

I do like the Galleon chip shop in Conwy, it's great to sit out on the Quay with a bag of chips on a Summer's day.

...or you could have the coffee shop at the lower Tram Station for just £8k, and £2.7k a year rent.

We had another look around llanfairfechan this afternoon and found a very pleasent little cafe called the Riverside Pantry, it is rated 5 on hygiene, we had cake, tea and a cappuccino, very good it was too, we will return soon to try lunch. At the moment it is open Mon to Friday, worth a try if you are in the area!
