I always wondered when this would happen...

Its certainly gone very quiet at the Washington. No sign of any work whatsoever taking place.

Never let it be said that Yorkshiremen are miserly.

Tonight Mrs Fester and I walked past the Mediterranean Restaurant in Upper Mostyn St, and she said to me that the smells that were wafting out of there were heavenly.

So, being the big softy that I am, I gave in... and I let her walk past it again!

I went into the cafe in Waterstones the other day and was surprised to see that it had been completely changed around and rebranded as Cafe W, not a vestige of the former Cafe Culture remained:

Cadwaladers were asked on Facebook about the closure of their Llandudno cafe and said: "We hope to re-open in Llandudno sometime in 2013, we will post all developments and news on our Facebook page. Thank you."

Are you sure you mean The Mediterranean?   I just walked past Pars Restaurant, (a couple of doors down, just below Fat Cat) .. and Pars has closed down.  In fact there is a notice which infers that the Landlord has repossessed the property!

I sincerely hope that it is not BOTH of them!

This may help to explain the position with Cadwaladers.

All this talk about High Street businesses closing down, or being closed down ---- comes as no surprise to me. Actually I'm surprised its taken so long. The main reason, the rentals for these properties. Mike

The Mediterranean was open and quite busy tonight.

It's Pars Restaurant that has been closed down, and repossessed by the Landlord.

'Twas someone outside Coony's who was talking to my OH. Someone must have got the wrong information. Glad you spotted that Fester.
