Have you been to Celtica in Caernarfon?  I wish they would open one here - all the Welsh craf stuff and a cafe.

It looks like the Childrenswear shop on St Georges place has closed down.
The one between the already closed 'Sweet Shop' ... and the 'on borrowed time' Petticoat Lane fancy goods shop.

There is very little left open on that stretch now!   St Georges Plaice Chippie being the exception.

It was called 'Urchin', I think. Amazing how St Georges Place is a dead spot for shops, when Mostyn Street is less than 50 feet away.

The Toys & Jokes kiosk on the pier has a very good range of buckets and spades etc. Also the Newsagent across the road from the Empire has a few bits and pieces.

Oscar Jnr is saying that Tesco have snatched the former Woolworths store in Llandudno away from Poundstretcher.

""Oscar reliably informed that Tesco have knocked Poundstretcher out of the water in snatching the old Woolworth in Llandudno from their mouths.

Fax came in earlier asking about loading restrictions etc and access for Mostyn St and back Mostyn Street from Tesco""

Apparently the Poundstretchers signs (that were only installed last week) were removed from the shop today.

If it is a Tesco Express , they open late, and they will clean up in that area.

It mainly seems to be generic gifts and housewares, rather than anything Llandudno related.
