Welsh Apprentice winner Alana Spencer to open seafront dessert cafe in North Wales
The Aberystwyth baker who won The Apprentice 2016 will open a new cafe in Llandudno

The Apprentice champion has taken on a former cafe in a well-known location in Llandudno ? and is set to transform it into a mecca for desserts.

This week she confirmed to North Wales Live that she will be taking over a 'prominent' and 'very busy' location in Llandudno but is yet to disclose exactly where.

Alana will serve everything from ice cream sundaes to savoury snacks to a few surprise items that people may not expect - and maybe a few cakes as well.

The former Ham Bone Cafe in Lloyd Street maybe more suitable?

Didn't realise H B had stopped trading there but it would seem a better alternative.

The Ham Bone has not stopped trading.

Their former restaurant next door to their retail outlet has been up for sale or rent for a while.

For the record, I have only suggested this to be a more attractive alternative for the young lady’s business than the CyD Paddling Pool Kiosk.

All you have to do is to work out how many bums on seats do you have to have to meet your financial obligations. with 15K rent, a less than ideal location, I'd give her a year, two at most to realise great idea wrong everything else  ))*  $booboo$.

Pub landlord completes £250k renovation to welcome back punters for the first time since lockdown
The Penrhyn Arms in Penrhyn Bay has undergone intense work since landlord Mark Roberts took over the venue four-years-ago
The pub has a lot of history and I remember one of the Landlords many years ago called John Bryn Mor.   A really nice guy and quite a character

))*      My mistake           Penrhyn Side it is.     It's a while since I've been inside the pub but must give it a go when it's open.   Good luck to Mark Roberts  $good$

A late night licence for a new McDonald's restaurant will turn Llandudno into "the likes of Rhyl where standards are lower", an unhappy resident has claimed.

A Conwy county council licensing committee is set to consider whether the new fast food outlet on Mostyn Champneys Retail Park, Llandudno, should be allowed to trade 24/7 at a meeting this week.
