FAT Cat is making a return to Llandudno.

The Fat Cat Cafe Bar will open at 149 Mostyn Street on Friday, April 12 at 8pm.
The build is the former Lilly Bar & Grill.
Nick Ellis, owner of Club 147 and The Gresham, purchased the business about six weeks ago and decide to rebrand as a nod back to the past.                https://www.northwalespioneer.co.uk/news/17563630.fat-cat-cafe-bar-opening-in-llandudno/

The only magic and illusion bar in Wales is set to open in Llandudno
A night of psychic phenomena and bizarre entertainment that will make you "question your senses".

The Magic Bar Live, one of the only establishments of its type in the UK and thought to be the only in Wales, will be serving up a mix of cocktails and stage magic in Llandudno

HUGE pub chain JD Wetherspoon is not ruling out a second attempt to snap up Conwy’s Civic Hall which will go back up for sale this Summer.   https://www.northwalespioneer.co.uk/news/17657039.despite-failed-bid-pub-chain-say-they-will-discuss-conwys-civic-hall-when-it-is-re-marketed-this-summer/

Locals are baffled by the closure of a £1m gastro pub for 'kitchen maintenance'.

The Tal-y-Cafn in Conwy Valley was re-opened in 2016 after a major renovation.
It had previously been closed for six years.
Last autumn general manager Graham Higgins took over the site, buying up the pub and other assets from the former owners.
But around three weeks ago the pub closed with signs in the windows saying it is shut for "kitchen maintenance".

Residents say there has been no sign of any work taking place, and there has been no response to North Wales Live attempts to contact the owners by phone and email.
