We visited Bryn Williams' restaurant at Porth Eirias on Sunday morning to try their cooked Welsh Breakfast. Not cheap (£7.95), but delicious! Great place to have breakfast and enjoy the view.  $good$

I have just checked back to my previous post about the skip breakfast. It was £8.95 in May 2016.
That was the only time we have been for breakfast but we enjoyed it. I remember getting a lot of stick on here about paying that much for breakfast. Maybe they have reduced their prices.
Did it look similar to ours DaveR?

Yes, apart from we had scrambled eggs. Lovely breakfast, with top quality ingredients. It is still £8.95, I just checked my bill. 2 breakfasts, plus coffees and orange juice came to £26.30. Nice for an occasional treat - I was saying to my partner that it would be fun to have breakfast there on a stormy Winter's morning.

I made a booking for the skip for lunch today but when the waiter came to take our order I thought that I had booked the wrong place because it was the lovely Italian waiter from Signatures who had moved to Porth Eirias 3 months ago.
I wish him well, a super professional and I should think a great loss to his previous employer.
Food was all delicious but still no change on the menu although my risotto was with vegetables instead of mushrooms today!   :D

I think Hugo is thinking of the Mexican waiter.
This is the waiter that has moved job.

Thanks Norman and Hollins.     $good$

I'm glad Carlos is still there as he was so helpful when I had a do there last year.    I'm sure that Simone will be missed as I remember him there too.
It was last July 30th when I saw you there Norman, you were just leaving as we were going into the restaurant.  Great food and location and we've been looking at the September menu.    I hope you are a member too as the offers are good.

Interesting article, mentions good and bad reviews, and planned changes for the side bar, although good ideas, I wonder if this extension will rely on a further Tourism grant (discussed recently in "Points to ponder")

This is what Dylan's has planned next for Llandudno Washington site
Bosses are drawing up detailed plans for the next stage of their £1.5m project.

Restaurant chain Dylan’s is set to submit plans to convert the former side bar at the Washington site in Llandudno into an events space.
The brand’s third seafront restaurant opened in May and has attracted around 2,000 diners a week over the summer.
Director David Evans said there had been “good and bad” feedback from customers and the team were all focused was on ensuring consistency.

Over the next 12 months, the company plans to extend the events offering in Llandudno to include comedy and cinema nights, live music, salsa nights and tea dances.
There will also be a monthly local produce market and occasional in-house foodslam

The Cross Keys is currently closed and looks to be undergoing a major renovation. Long overdue.
