What sort of firm are they DaveR,been everywhere over town, precinct, old Timothy Whites.
They take temporary leases in shops that are available to let. I think they get a discounted rent in return for agreeing to move out if a permanent tenant is found.

I understand that Publishers Book Clearance may be opening in the former Hoosons Chemist premises on Upper Mostyn Street.

This was related to me by 2 separate local business people, not connected to each other.
So, I am looking forward to seeing how reliable that info is!

Anyone know when Domino's is opening in Colwyn Bay?
I had a flyer delivered 3 days ago saying it is now open but it doesn't appear to be.

It must be imminent.  The windows have been whitewashed all week and there have been contractors vans outside but this morning the windows were clear so you could see inside and the vans were gone.  Everything looks ready to roll.  Hopefully they'll be open on Monday so I can get myself a £1 lunch (if the offer is still on).

The new Indian takeaway in the Bay, Spice City, is also due to open soon (the 16th if I remember correctly).

One of the empty shops on Station Road in Colwyn Bay, the one next door to Dan's Den, is being opened as some sort of social enterprise.  The former Guys & Dolls hairdressing shop on Abergele Road is about to reopen as a new hairdressing salon.  The Bay Gallery has relocated from the unit outside the BayView Centre to one of the other empty shops on Station Road.  Brighthouse are currently advertising for staff in Colwyn Bay, which might explain why the Bay Gallery have had to relocate from the BayView Centre?

It's a shame that it's only a Pound Bakery and they haven't put in a Pound Cafe as well.  If there's one problem Llandudno suffers from it's a lack of cafes so a Pound Cafe would have been very welcome.

It's a big shop that....and I was certain that there would be some tables in there.

What else is all that square footage being used for if not?
