Homestyle seems to close down on a regular basis only to open up again "under new management" the following day.

 It might really be the end this time for Homestyle; I suspect their lease may finally be up.

It might sound stupid, but i think it needs a few more to close befor anybody starts doing anything about it,as far as i know there are no new shops coming into town, just a few more cafes,so this just might get the councils thinking about some regeneration for Mostyn st.

The Empty shops syndrome is not confined to Llandudno.  York - an extremely prosperous destination for overseas visitors - has one in three shops closed in their city centre.  Lakeland, curiously, is one group that's expanding, but few are, these days.

I think Llandudno is faring very well in comparison to many similar sized towns with regards to the numbers of empty shops.

Sewing machine shop is closing down as a direct result of lack of foot fall on Upper Mostyn St...

What will upper mostyn look like by the winter with the closure of Manor Fine Foods, Pound stretcher. The sewing machine shop and the still empty Hoosons.
Reminds me of a song by cheap Trick.
Think I should stand on Hoosons Corner singing it.

It won;t be long before one of the bars close, there is no nitelife here anymore and there is nothing we can do ,the council refuse to clean up empty shops so it will look awfull.
