Is that the large shop opposite Pont Y Pair bridge?

No - same side but slightly higher up, just past the Art shop.

I took a look at that shop a couple of weeks ago, and I was wondering what kind of business would be suited to it.
It would make a fantastic cafe/bar,  or a gallery.   But I doubt that there is enough additional business to share around to justify the costs, at least for half of the year.

It's the quietest end of Betws up there, not that much footfall. Nice unit though.

Going back probably 25/30 years there used to be a small Bistro somewhere up there which we frequented whilst we were in the area on holiday. It had a garden on the riverside at the back and was always busy.---They made fantastic garlic mushrooms if I remember. $good$

A rather colourful shop is in the process of opening in St. Georges Place, next to Caffe Nero. The paint is still wet, as Fester found out when he looked through the door.

Thats in the conservation area isn't it? How can you let them paint it in those colors and then tell Mrs stick of rock she can't paint her hotel Pink? Madness

I made that same point to Fester when we were looking at it.

I was walking past Craft Llandudno earlier and noticed that the 'Land-Dudno' part of the sign had been obscured. Looks like they have had to change their name.

I noticed that too, and remarked upon it to Mrs Fester.   I wonder why?

A good name I always thought.

A business only usually changes its name if it has to.  ;)
