For some strange reason, Tesco Llandudno junction is called Tesco Llandudno. I think some numpty at Tesco Hq has failed their Geography GCSE

It is exactly the same with the picture house - Cineworld, Llandudno.

Heaven forbid if they did the same to the railway station.

It's more to do with marketing than geographical knowledge.  I am always amused by the hotel branded "Chester West" which is on the A55 near Northop Hall.

Same with the A470 it starts in Llandudno and finishes in Cardiff but they call it the Cardiff to Glan Conwy trunk road.

I have just noticed that Marks and Spencer have just put in an application for various bits of new signage with the council.

This could mean that their long-discussed refit might actually be happening at last!

A bit of re-organisation might help the situation with the queues.

According to their website, Julian Graves the Health Food shop has gone into administration.

They have one of the units in the Victoria Centre.

Julian Graves, a company that seemed to lose its way in recent times.

It began with a reputation for healthy foods at very reasonable prices, and diversified into food based gifts, (teas, coffees etc)

But, it became neither one nor the other, and in recent times I have seen decidedly unhealthy foods on offer, and sugary gimmicks taking up much of the shelf space.  Because of this, serious health food lovers deserted the brand.
In addition, the prices went up quite alarmingly.
This is probably because most of their branches were in high-end shopping centres or shopping arcades... with rents that must have been a terrible burden.

Julian Graves is a sister company of Holland & Barrett. It always looked a very dull shop to me.

I said to my OH a few weeks ago that I thought that they were in trouble. The bags of nuts and fruits have bee on offer far more than normal-- it all seemed to smack of desperation.

Looking back to April 14th and my post of that date, I commented on the lack of stock and many offers.

There's an ad. in the Pioneet for rental of a shop in Madoc Street 12k a year.  It's fancy goods shop half way down on the right, can't remember what it's called.  Such a shame as tyhe people haven't been there long.
