Lots of activity in the old Bay Trading shop lately, it's currently being refurbished inside and out - is a tenant on the way in?

Wasn't that the Past-Times seasonal store, open only until Xmas last year?
Maybe it will be the same again.
Possibly but the work looks a bit more comprehensive than for a casual tenant. Maybe its just the Landlord sprucing it up to try and make it more attractive.
The always informative Oscar has the answer to this one, and its more good news for Mostyn Street. The former Bay Trading store has been let to Country Casuals on a 15 year lease.

"The £450,000 letting and sale of retail unit in Llandudno has been completed.

Cheetham & Mortimer, a Manchester-based retail and leisure property consultant, acting on behalf of Valad, sold the building to a private investment company.
The deal was conditional upon the successful new letting to clothing retailer Country Casuals for a 15-year term at a commencing rent of £67,000 per year.
The incoming tenant will receive an incentive package equivalent to two years rent, the property consultant said.
The grade-II listed 3,770sq ft retail unit is in Mostyn Street in the town centre.
Under its new landlord, the building will undergo refurbishment with the new store due to open in spring 2012."

Chocolate?  then why were they on the pier throwing dozens of lemons up in the air the other day, with a crew of photographers accompanying them?

Everything all neatly displayed as if ready for an auction!   Price tickets on all items and appears to be just a second hand goods shop.    ZXZ

No stalls Mr Fester, more of a wander round second hand goods shop!
Noticed today that the fishy foot nibble shop in the Victoria centre has closed down. seems it will be a tooth whitening centre.

We were in Bangor a week a go and noticed their other shop in the Deiniol Centre had already closed down.

There was a notice in the door requesting customers with gift vouchers to contact the Llandudno shop.

Wonder if it was that front page article in the Sun about the health hazards that finished them off?

More likely the massive rents and business rates, plus utilities for that unit in The Victoria Centre.
When I enquired, it would have needed approx £45k per year to cover both.
Sue Nash must be gutted, back to square one for that unit.

Well I won't be dunking my head in a bucket of water for any fish to whiten my teeth....that's for sure  :o

My thoughts were I hope if the teeth whitening goes ahead that it will be less public than the fish affair. Don't fancy a view of everyone's tonsils ! :o

Fester and I paid a visit to the old Ball & Boyds today, quite a range of furniture and collectibles, most of which was priced up. Prices seemed quite high for a lot of the furniture.
