The old Animal Clothing shop next to Trespass is to become a YMCA charity shop.

I don't think many animals buy clothing?  ;)

I wonder what the current percentage of Charity Shops and Coffee shops are, of the total shops which are open?
It’s getting pretty high!

Perhaps wiser is to be like me!  We've got 12 x 200L butts (ex mango chutney things) in the system. The micro irrigation bits the pigsty side need it and the veg plot can use this or mains depending on an L Port valve position.  Still could use more and have toyed with the idea of a 1000L container behind the pigsties... But that's just round the back and the grass there just has to suffer (though I see next door with one of those sprayers to keep their proper lawn healthy). of course you need some space for something like that and maybe (I drive a marine fresh water pump from a solar panel set up on a shed)  bit of planning and you'd be surprised how quickly say 1000L can go when there is no rain for a while..

Toy shop chain The Entertainer coming to North Wales town
The brand wants to open its second store in North Wales.

The brand is to due to open a new site in Llandudno.
The exact site is due to the released in the coming weeks and the Daily Post understands it could open as early as September.
The Entertainer has remained tight lipped on the plans but they are already advertising for staff for the new shop.

We walked past the old Marks & Spencer shop last night and saw that there is a poster on the door with the name and phone number of a site manager. I don't recall the company name but am sure its a Workspace company, ie refurbishment of commercial premises. Looks like something is happening there at last.

A new toy store, perhaps?

It's possible but I'd say that unit is way too big for someone like The Entertainer. Rates alone are £76k and the rent is almost certainly well over £100k.

Of course but if it is them then they could always start off downstairs like Sainsbury’s have already done with the old Woolies.

I wonder who owns the building?

... a toy shop - now there's a good idea, something the town does not have and people of all ages would support ... makes a welcome change from more and more coffee shops, how do they all pay their way, so much competition.

Isn't there already a toy shop next to Home Bargains?

It appears the occupants of the former Post Office in Vaughan Street have soon departed.
