Pret is a high quality business, we always have lunch there when in Chester. All their food is made on the premises. It would be a real asset to Llandudno, I shall be suggesting some potential units to them.

Good luck to The Looking Glass shop looks good and it might revitalise Upper Mostyn street. I hope they applied for Conwy CBC grant which looks like they might get.

Yes, let's hope it is a success. I just wish they would consider getting rid of those horrible metal shutters on the windows that were there when they moved in - I didn't think they were allowed in a Conservation Area anyway.

Had a trip to The Looking Glass ice cream parlour in Upper Mostyn Street this afternoon with my daughter and grandson. We were very impressed;it was very busy and the Alice in Wonderland inspired décor was lovely.
The selection of ice creams and sorbets made on the premises with Welsh ingredients was mouthwatering. My grandson had a jam tart flavour ice cream and said it was the best ice cream he'd ever tasted! Can't wait to go back there soon and try their other flavours. :P

Would that be just the shop or the whole building?

Any news on the BHF's furniture shop? All seems somewhat dead looking.

I thought they may simply be tidying up the inside to help find a new tenant.

I seem to remember the owners of the former Discount Book Store/ Ethel Austin shop next door to Poundland did just that a few months back.

Wasn't that the shop where the victim of a burglary found some of their possessions on sale?
