Sorry Yorkie and everyone. I feel I am to blame for this "off subject" in this thread. It was O.K. until the subject of golf was mentioned. only two days ago, and it all went off at a tangent and I chipped in without thinking. I wanted to write something about this proposed golf competition but I'm going to put it in a new thread.  Mike

Hello all,

Karen & Derek here making an introduction.

We are both from Llandudno and found this forum while entering 'dudno related searches into a search engine. An outstanding forum we may add!

We had been working in the teaching profession in South America until last month, when we decided to move our family northward to the land of Stars and Stripes in search of better prospects.

The old Llandudno Local message board suffered quite a few problems, including all the posts disappearing once or twice. Craig went off to pastures new. Ian and myself decided to set up this Forum to replace it and also expanded it a little to include Colwyn Bay and Conwy as well.
