The Festers have been to the Conwy Late Knight Shopping event tonight.
It has been excellently publicised and my congratulations go to the organisers.
I can't say that the tills were ringing very loudly in the shops, but as an event it was very well done.
There were Knights re-enacting battles, there was a medieval torchlight parade, street vendors ..a hog roast (my favourite), lots of fancy dress, jousting for the kids, charity auction... carollers, brass band....and so it goes on.
There was an RNLI team collecting funds by getting locked in medieval stocks and getting pelted by cold, soaking wet sponges. Fair play to them.
I'm a lousy photographer but I'll put a couple on here anyway.
I really hope they repeat this event in future years.....it will grow in popularity.
