It has been a really warm sunny day in Colwyn Bay and tonight's sunset was really good.     Visibility was excellent this evening and Ireland,  the Isle of Man were clearly visible as were the Cumbrian Hills and the Lancashire coast
The second photo shows the Cumbrian Hills behind the windfarm

Not long after I took this photo, the heavens opened and there was torrential rain again in Colwyn Bay but now a short while later the weather is back to how it was before.
It's just crazy weather at the moment.

Colwyn Bay has been named as one of the most visited seaside destinations in the UK.

With its long sandy beach and diverse range of activities, Colwyn Bay’s reputation as a great resort to visit dates back to the 19th century.
And now, the location has been been named as one of the top spots to visit by railcard holders.

The North Wales coastal town has seen a whole host of development over the past few years. The £5m Porth Eirias, with its watersports centre and bistro owned by Welsh celebrity chef Bryn Williams has brought a buzz to the seafront.

I can sympathise with the guy because I know people who have driven to the Toad for a meal only to find that there has been no  parking spaces available and they have then carried on to an alternative place to have a meal.
The Toad did well to continue trading a few years ago when those apartments were being  built on both sides of the place

A North Wales Police spokesman said they were called at 10.02am to Station Square, Colwyn Bay after a gold-coloured Ford Focus has ended up on its roof. There are no reports of anybody suffering any injuries and no other car was said to be involved. REF DP

How is it possible to do that unless you are driving too fast?

I have noticed recently on dash cam footage,(You Tubes stupid drivers) how easily some cars roll over even during slow shunts, and the car above despite being on it's roof, is not to badly damaged.

Found this video as example...

I agree, I used to have the same mindset as DaveR but after watching some of these videos was amazed at how easily some cars roll, especially at very low speed. Qute an eye opener.

I think it's in Colwyn Bay railway station car park.
