I see that so called businessman Steve Hunt is STILL talking about making an appeal. Will nothing stop this man from wasting even more of our money in useless legal challenges which he cannot pay for himself

The "new" Bevans store has opened in the BayView Centre looking remarkably like the old Bevans except that the till has moved to new position a few feet away from where it used to be.  And it looks like someone has over-ordered on tins of paint.

The Coca Cola truck is coming to North and mid Wales this year.

On Wednesday, December 2 Colwyn Bay from midday until 8pm people will be in for a treat when the red-coloured Coca-Cola truck visits town.

There’s plenty of free, fun family entertainment planned too. Look out for stilt walking candy canes and toy soldiers and roller skating ice pixies all interspersed on the festive tree lined Station Road.

And thanks to Disney no Christmas event would now be complete without an appearance from Elsa and Olaf!

There’ll even be a couple of reindeer and of course the star of Christmas himself, a visit from Santa arriving in style on a vintage charabanc!

Most activities will take place from 4pm to give parents a chance to pick the kids up from school.

This should attract a few people into the Bay but having read about the traffic chaos this truck always seems to generate I'll have to make a mental note not to park too close to the town centre on the day if I want to get home from work before midnight.

I suspect the Pier will have fallen down before Mr Hunt has exhausted every possible Appeal he can think of?

I'll probably go along but mainly because I work in the Bay so I'll be nearby anyway and also because they'll most likely be handing out freebies (which would mean the kid's presents would be sorted).

I'd love to know how they drove it from Wrexham all the way to Grimsby with no wheels  :o.

Went and watched the Firework display in Eirias Park last night which was fantastic, the best I've seen for a long while. The only thing that mared it was the "Chav" who thought it was a good idea to bring his Dog $smack$

Plans for the new Council offices are published today

http://www.dailypost.co.uk/business/business-news/first-images-colwyn-bay-office-10601622
It truly amazes me that, at a time of austerity, when cutbacks are announced all the time...that CCBC are announcing plans for grandiose offices. Why can't they work out of cheap rented accommodation?
