The Rhos Pirate Weekend seemed a bit of a flop really. Very little in the way of atmosphere, very few people dressed up as pirates. Rhos just doesn't suit itself to that to a pirate themed event, sadly.

Given the average age of residents in Rhos, a lot of them probably remember Blackbeard from the first time he was around and have bad memories of it all.  :-X

The winds are very strong at the moment and will increase to over 40 mph in the early hours and it's bin day tomorrow!

I was driving from Colwyn Bay about 2.00 pm today and when I came to the large roundabout in Brompton Avenue there were barriers across the road and a Policewoman was diverting traffic towards the promenade
I could see Police cars and an ambulance further up Brompton Avenue so there must have been some incident going on there.  Anyone know what it was all about?
