That's not far from where I walk my dog so I'll have to watch it!

The Promenade is now open in Old Colwyn so I had a nice walk on the sand yesterday.   The recent storms have resulted in lots of shells getting washed up by the high water mark and damage to the railings on the Promenade.
Today has been sunny but very cold and we had some nice colours in the sky as the Sun was starting to set.

I travelled from Old Colwyn on the A55  today at about 3.00 pm  and came off at the Rhos on Sea slip road but the traffic at the West End was grid locked so I had to turn left instead and then make my way to Kings Drive.
I've no idea what was causing the hold up but doubt if it was the usual school run.

I had a walk on the sandy beach in Colwyn Bay earlier this morning between the Pier and the Skip.     I took some photos of the Pier but didn't realise that the Pier is home to other birds apart  from the resident Pigeons.

Heartbreaking to see the pier like that.

It is such a shame to see it like that, I've seen a photo of it in its heyday and it looked a grand building.    Even the safety fence along the beach is down in places so CCBC should address the problem asap.

Lovely morning, low tide and not a thing happening anywhere around the remains of the pier.

I was on the sandy beach in Old Colwyn  late morning and  it was perfect for walking the dog.    The sea was very calm and there was no hint of a breeze and the temperature was 12C .       I could see a lot of Seagulls by the end of the groyne and noticed that there were dozens of dead Starfish  near the groyne
